The Department of Dentistry pertains to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of diseases and disorders of the oral cavity and the surrounding structures. Our Department of Dentistry comprises dental surgeons from various specialties of dentistry, committed to providing a multidisciplinary approach to all types of dental, oral, and cranio maxillo-facial problems.

Preventive

Preventive Oral Health Check-up includes periodic dental check-up with instructions on oral healthcare, Scaling and polishing, fluoride treatment, pit and fissure sealants, etc. 

Oral Medicine

Oral Medicine includes Clinical Diagnosis and management of diseases of the mouth and nearby structures, Diagnosis and management of TMJ disorders, Diagnosis and management of orofacial pain, Diagnosis and management of lesions in the oral cavity, early oral cancer detection and tobacco cessation counseling, etc.

Restorative

Tooth Color Fillings and Root Canal Treatment are restorative treatments of the Dentistry department.

Replacement of Missing Teeth

Replacement of missing teeth can be covered by Partial and complete dentures, Crowns and bridges, Implants, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, etc.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic Dentistry includes Smile Design, Teeth Whitening, Veneers, Gum Depigmentation (remove/ lighten the black spots or patch on the gums), etc.

Orthodontic treatment

Fixed and Removable Orthodontics and Clear Aligners are options under Orthodontic treatment. 

Maxillofacial Surgery

Maxillofacial Surgery includes management of pathology and injuries to the maxillofacial region, TMJ pathology, Management of cleft lip and Palate, etc.

Periodontal Treatment

Non-Surgical Treatment of Gum Diseases which includes Subgingival scaling and root planning, Surgical Treatment like flap surgery, gingivectomy, crown lengthening, GTR, and Regenerative osseous (bone) surgery like GBR are included in Periodontal treatment. 

Pedodontic Treatment (Dentistry for Children)

Dentistry focusing on children included routine consultation, diet counseling, preventive treatments, restorations, root canal treatment, crowns, space maintainers, minor surgery, Dental treatment of children with special health care needs/special child with/without GA, etc

Oral Radiology

Oral Radiology is the diagnosis process of dental problems with the help of equipment like Intraoral X-Ray, OPG (Panoramic X-ray), etc.
