At Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Ruju Khadka, the head of the department and batch of the country's first MSc class, oversees the division of clinical nutrition and dietetics.
She earned her master's degree from Kathmandu's only Nutrition and Dietetics College, the College of Applied Food and Dairy Technology, and her bachelor's degree in food technology from Tribhuvan University's Lalitpur Valley College. She began her career with ENPHO, a company that aids in the examination of water, and afterward worked as a dietitian at Sumeru Hospital and also nutrition lecturer for the bachelor of nursing program at B&B College. Apart from that she has also worked as a dietician in the 13th South Asian Games. She has taken part in numerous workshops and training sessions, taught nutrition lessons for a variety of school programs, published a journal on the nutritional status of dialysis patients, and also obtained a certificate of sports training.
Through her guidance, she has improved the health and disease management of thousands of people.
