Dr. Anna Sharma is the Principal Consultant and Head of the Department of Paediatrics at Nepal Mediciti. She completed her MBBS and MD degrees from the renowned Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University. With extensive experience in paediatric medicine, Dr. Sharma has worked at leading private medical colleges and healthcare institutions, where she refined her expertise in managing comprehensive paediatric care.

Dr. Sharma leads the paediatric outpatient, inpatient, and paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) services, delivering expert care across all areas of child health. Her clinical leadership ensures world-class paediatric treatment and personalized care for newborns, infants, and children with acute and chronic conditions.

In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Sharma serves on several important hospital committees, including the Drug and Therapeutic Committee, Internal Complaint Committee, and Academic Committee, contributing to policy development and quality improvement initiatives.

Dr. Sharma is an active member of prominent professional organizations such as the Nepal Paediatric Society (NEPAS), Nepal Medical Association (NMA), and the Association of Health Professions Educationists of Nepal. Her dedication to advancing paediatric medicine and health education underscores her commitment to elevating child healthcare standards in Nepal.
