Dr. Prasanna Babu Oli is a  Senior Registrar in the Department of Neonatology at Nepal Mediciti, specializing in paediatric healthcare and neonatal medicine. With a deep commitment to improving the health of newborns, infants, and children, Dr. Oli blends evidence-based clinical practice with a patient-focused approach to ensure optimal outcomes for young patients.

He earned his MBBS degree from Nepalgunj Medical College, affiliated with Kathmandu University, in 2015. Driven by a passion for child health, he completed his MD in Paediatrics from Nepal Medical College in 2021. His strong academic background has laid a solid foundation for delivering expert care in paediatrics and neonatology.

To strengthen his paediatric clinical competencies, Dr. Oli has undertaken specialized training programs such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and the Ponseti Method for Clubfoot Treatment. These certifications highlight his commitment to staying current with globally recognized paediatric treatment protocols and life-saving interventions.

Dr. Oli’s medical career spans key roles in some of Nepal’s well-regarded healthcare institutions. He worked as a Medical Officer at Om Hospital and Research Centre, Kathmandu, where he gained over a year of hands-on experience in general pediatrics. He also served as a Registrar at International Friendship Children’s Hospital (IFCH), enhancing his clinical skills in managing complex pediatric conditions and neonatal complications.

As an active member of the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and the Nepal Paediatric Society (NEPAS), Dr. Prasanna Babu Oli stays engaged in continuous medical education and upholds the highest standards of paediatric healthcare practice.
