Dr.Rabin Sharma is a consultant Gastroenterologist at Nepal Mediciti.  He completed medical school from MBBS (MCOMS Pokhara) MD (Internal Medicine) from KMC, Mangalore and DM (Gastroenterology and Hepatology) from prestigious BPKIHS, Dharan, Nepal. After DM he worked in Vayodha Hospitals, Kathmandu, and gained proficiency in clinical Gastroenterology, Hepatology and in its application to patient care. He is well versed in the management of all kind of Luminal, Hepatic, Pancreatic, Biliary and systemic diseases. He has undergone short term training in both noninvasive and invasive Gastroenterology and Hepatology from AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Sharma has good experience in performing all kind of therapeutic procedures. Procedures like Variceal Banding and Scleropathy, Balloon and Bougie Dilatation, glue injection for Fundal Varicies, endoscopic management of ulcers/bleeding are his core experience areas.

 Dr. Rabin Sharma has a keen interest in research and has attended various national and international conferences, international therapeutic endoscopy workshops and CMEs regularly. He has publications (both national and international) to his credit which include original articles and case reports. He has an interest in academics and has experience in teaching postgraduate students, nursing staff and other paramedical personnel.

Stomach, ulcers, Gastrointestinal(GI) bleeding, Intestine, Liver and Pancreaticobiliary diseases, Management of acidity,  constipation, Irritable bowel syndrome and reflux,  Endoscopic management of obesity (balloon placement), Therapeutic Endoscopy and Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic ultrasound.
