Dr. Satyam Rimal Upadhyay is a Principal Consultant Paediatrician and Paediatric Gastroenterologist at Nepal Mediciti, with a strong educational background and extensive experience of 19 years. He holds MBBS from Dhaka University, an MD in Paediatrics from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore (KU) and a Fellowship in Paediatric Gastroenterology/Hepatology from the Institute of Child Health, Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Rimal's specialized training includes managing children with various Gastrointestinal and Hepatological problems, as well as performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, variceal banding, esophageal dilatation and foreign body removal. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Rimal has demonstrated a commitment to both clinical practice and medical education. He served as an Associate Professor of Paediatrics at Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital, where he was involved in teaching medical students and training postgraduate MD residents. Additionally, he held the position of Deputy Hospital Director at the same institution. 

Dr. Rimal has also contributed to the medical field through publications in various journals, focusing on paediatric care and gastroenterology. His training includes certifications and participation in advanced workshops and conferences. This demonstrates his ongoing commitment to professional development and to providing high-quality care to his patients. He is the executive member and the co-chair in Paediatric Gastroenterology Chapter of Nepal Pediatric Society.
