At Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Ruju Khadka, the head of the department and batch of the country's first MSc class, oversees the division of clinical nutrition and dietetics.

She earned her master's degree from Kathmandu's only Nutrition and Dietetics College, the College of Applied Food and Dairy Technology, and her bachelor's degree in food technology from Tribhuvan University's Lalitpur Valley College. She began her career with ENPHO, a company that aids in the examination of water, and afterward worked as a dietitian at Sumeru Hospital and also nutrition lecturer for the bachelor of nursing program at B&B College. Apart from that she has also worked as a dietician in the 13th South Asian Games. She has taken part in numerous workshops and training sessions, taught nutrition lessons for a variety of school programs, published a journal on the nutritional status of dialysis patients, and also obtained a certificate of sports training.

Through her guidance, she has improved the health and disease management of thousands of people.

• Worked in ENPHO for 1 month.
• Worked as a part-time Dietician in Sumeru Hospital from September 14th, 2014 to January 28th, 2015.
• Worked full-time as a Dietician in Sumeru Hospital from January 29th, 2015 to January 4th, 2019.
• Worked as a Dietician at Mediciti Hospital for 9th April to 17th August 2019.
• Worked as a Dietician at the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) 2019.
• Worked as a Nutrition teacher in BMI College for BSc and BN nursing (B and B hospital).
